Gents, while I have no first hand experience with the Moss seal, I have
discussed it off this list with Al Moss and Bill Bollendonk. The problem
with the original Moss design besides the actual seal material (it was all
that Al could find at the time he cooked this up....and Bob Shcaphel was the
first with the idea), was that there was no provision for oil to get to the
seal....this is a must as determined by Bill during extensive testing that he
did. even with viton. My understanding is that the most reccent Moss kit
has the proper seal and tells how to get oil back to the seal.

Had it not been for the insane originality post of last year, we would still
be able to mine the brilliant mind of Bill Bollendonk.....who unfortunately
stopped responding to this list becasue he feels that life is too short for
the kind of crap....
