MG B crankshaft rear seals

Hello all,
I have been following this rear seal discussion with interest.

A few drops of oil, or a little puddle, on the floor may not seem like
much of a problem (except to my pride) but over time it can make
an oily mess along the chassis.

Concerning the large diameter seal issue: I would like to point out
that the MG B engine uses such a seal running on the diameter of
the flywheel flange. It must be 4" diameter and B's don't seem to
have a wear problem. I have 180,000 miles on the current rear seal!!!

I will install the "small block chevy" conversion in my XPAG
overhaul.

Cheers,
