Re: [mg-tabc] TA/TB 3 brush generator conversion to 2 brush.

Clive,
Thanks for the info..just as I thought.
My reason for wanting to change to 2 brush is purely that my VA engine in
the TA Special has a large body Lucas 3 brush fitted to it..in A1 working
order..its "Special Equipment" with brass plates/nickel body and tacho
drive...a real beauty.
However I am about to fit Lucas Magneto but the existing Generator is too
long and the tacho drive gets in the way.
As I have quite a few spare TC short body 2 brush gennerators I intend using
one of them. However,
if someone out there can help me with a short body TAB 3 brush generator
then thats what I prefer...just havnt been able to lay my hands on one. I
would be happy to pay good money or swap or whatever. Keep in mind that I
live in Western Australia.
Clive, my other option now would be to obtain a "2 brush CJR-3" voltage
regulator + cutout like you have in front of you. Would you be prepared to
part with it ?
I await your reply.
Regards
Harry
