Can someone please give me information on the MG meet being held at
Silverstone in mid-June??? Is there a web-site for it??? Or an e-mail
address???

Hi Carl You can reach the [UK] MG Car Club at http://www.mgcars.org.uk/mgcc/index.html where you will find a report on last year's Silverstone meeting, the dates for the 2000 Silverstone, and an e-mail contact address:- carclub@mgcars.org.uk I could not find the 2000 Silverstone meeting programme details on line [although the club calendar, including the Silverstone dates, is listed] nor could I open the on-line-Silverstone-ticket-booking page [presumably temporary problem - have sent an email to the club to advise]. However in my very few dealings with the club headquarters I have always found them extremely helpful, so an e-mail to them will probably get you what you want. Suggestion:- Last year a few of we list members met at Silverstone, by agreeing a day, time, and place. Anyone interested this year? If yes, what about name tags? Could we arrange a distinctive T-ABC lapel badge on-line, and each print his own?? It would make meeting easier. At the risk of giving Walter some more work, the lapel badge could be placed on the TABC site as a down-loadable file, capable of having the wearer's name added locally before printing. Hi Walter OK. I have put 3pm 17th in my diary, but willing to meet anytime if other list members wish. Awaiting the on-line badge! Best regards Mike PS Fog light was GBP125 plus postage - seems to be the going rate nowadays.
