SunflowerListers, A while back there was a discussion about various suppliers of tops and tonneaus. Is there a recommended supplier of TC Tonneaus other than Moss? _Peter

One of my OTHER hobbies is paddling canoes and kayaks (yes the kayak fits on the TC). A fellow paddler in the canoe club works as an awning shop, installing awnings at various businesses and for wealthy people who can afford such. I left the TC with them for 3 days, and they made a nice vinyl tonneau cover, complete cover scuttle to side curtain box, zipper in the middle. Works great. They cut to pattern from car, then I installed studs and snaps to match locations. Try local awning shops, see if they would be willing to do the same. Paul Huck TC 9912

I ordered the full tonneau for my TC from Heritage Upholstery and Trim in tan Sunfast fabric and it is superb, plus the guys there are very customer-oriented. Don't use the original duck canvas material unless your car is a garage queen, as it shrinks and fades badly. Also don't use vinyl--plastic doesn't belong on a T-ABC.
