When I read that article I was worried about the rigidity of the arrangement. Does it work OK?
My XPAG TA had a modified bracket when I bought it - a plate welded to the bottom making it taller and projecting a bit forward. This was enough to clear the starter motor - TD rather than TC - but positioned the box so that the drop arm hit the sump, increasing the already generous turning circle. I have since had another fabricated which I hope is an improvement. Not certain about that yet though.
I wondered about drilling and fitting a TC bracket but was not certain that the TA chassis was boxed in at the right places. Is it?
