HOLE IN CENTER OF ENGINE MOUNT BRACKET.

Did the MGTA engine bracket not have a rebound rubber? All rebound rubbers have a center rubber of 1 3/32 inch and my engine mount brackets for the TA have a 3/4 inch hole in the bracket. Maybe the TA lacked a rebound rubber? I could drill that hole to fit the rebound rubbers.

Carlyle, The rebound rubber (S118/9) and associated bits, was introduced with the TB TB251 on. See MG TA TB Service Parts List, page 49. Makes sense to retro fit to the TAs though. CliveOxford, UK
