Thanks for the response, guys. At least now I have a place to start.
I have been racing my TVR2500 with CVAR for two seasons now, but the
pre-1960 group looks like a lot more fun. Where else could you find
yourself on the same track as an Allard, Kurtis or Ferrari 212? My
experience with the TVR has at least exposed me to the mysteries of
engine building, fuel systems, etc. We do require roll bars, kill
switches and all that good stuff as our baseline is the 1972 SCCA
General Course Rules. I am fortunate in that I have a friend in Fort
Worth who races a supercharged TF and is quite knowledgable about
XPAG engines. There is also at least one other TC Racer under
construction up in Dallas.
Right now I am making lists and looking for sources. I will start
spending serious money as soon as I have sold the TVR. Meanwhile, you
guys stay in touch.
