MGs in books

Do, any other brethren ( or sistren!) have a copy of "How to repair your
foreign car" by Dick O'Shane (honestly!), published by Doubleday in
1968. In it , a TF on the title page and page 24 has mutated to a TC (
and in a state I happen to be very familiar with!) by page 66. The
writing is most amusing!

Dave I have a copy of my own "Carburetor=a French word for leave alone", but the auther is Dick O'Kane.

That's the one! A truly memorable line! Like the inscription found in an Ancient Roman chariot repair shop!My wife thinks this book is a scream!

Without that Dick O'Kane book, which should be required reading for any mechanic or hobbyist, I seriously doubt I'd ever have ended up as a British Car enthusiast and collector. (Wait...is that a GOOD thing?
