I would like to relate the plan for disposal of Jim's remains. . . . When the undertaker suggested a very expensive container I was under some stress and looking at the carton I'd been handed replied to the man " I think I will just take the top off a battery and seal him in there." to which my sons replied in unison . . . ." Dad would really get a charge out of that." The undertaker departed sheepishly, trying to figure out the joke which had us laughing even under the conditions of grief. Seriously though. . . My daughter and I are carrying small containers(film canisters to be exact) to all the places we visit. . such as Tuscany and Peru and New Mexico.(Those are just this years list, ther are more to come) So you see Jim Carroll is still 'travelling".
