Chevy rear seal

First item there is: Andrew Bradley s XPAG oil seal
This pretty much explains it but I suggest buying a new top
aluminum slinger shield as old ones have a habit of being warped. I
know of several people who have had trouble stopping the rear leak
with the Chevy seal. In one case it was from the aluminum cover
warping and not letting the seal mate properly. In other cases it
was from inadiquate sealing of other mating parts. Be careful. When
done correctly it works GREAT.
By the way, I had trouble finding a place to do the welding on the
crank. Most shops were hesitant to do it. Don's Speed Center in San
Diego would do it but I would have had to wait 3 months due to their
work back log. I took my crank and pieces to Mike Goodman (Van Nuys,
CA) who has done this conversion many times and had the parts back in
