Yup. This guy "slow-dancin" was a thief. The funds were sent and taken and I never ever got anything from the guy. He stopped answering emails after about two, and has been cut off eBay. Best, Ray "I can't tell the difference between Whizzo butter and this dead crab."

If you have received all of the List responses on this issue, it seems the majority would oppose any kind of black list. The pros and cons of a Good Guys list should be considered. Lack of inclusion means nothing....no more or less than what's in the Yellow pages. A listing with references....ala Ebay and Amazon might be helpful, but a lack of references should not be a negative, only cautionary. Please give Sandy's excellent response some careful thought. Is this really a task for the List? As a point in fact, I have been accumulating e-mail from the list mentioning favorable experiences with various vendors of parts and services. My reason for doing so is simply to have a quick recourse when something inevitably breaks down. I suspect many on the List have done the same. Perhaps this is the simplest solution for us all. _Peter
