Bob did you mean your "Egg Salad Days" another product is Solder Seal, it is a packet of silver powder that you put into the radiator and run, it too will seal porous blocks. You are right about not bringing out the "big Guns" in this case. Certainly for the cost of these quick fixes they are worth a try first. Joe
