Hi Terry, TA2969 did have a battery switch installed behind the driver's seat near the tunnel below the hand crank. The connections were very close to the batteries in this location. Whether it is an original location or done by a PO is unknown although it had been there awhile. I put it back in the same place and it works fine and is not very visible.
