gen1 versus gen2 rotors

Next on the list is to check ignition timing, with a timing light, while the Gen2 rotor is still on my Gen1.
Following that, I plan to catch some scope patterns if can see anything.
After that, may investigate the trigger coil depths and shorten a Gen2 reluctor bar to Gen1 length/arc to see if that solves the missing.
