we use this brand at work to secure all kinds of things, http://www.band-it-idex.com/ we use the tie-lok tie s.i.d. 1/4" x 10" 304 stainless ul listed and rated for 250 lbs. i'm not going to tell you how i secured mine, but if you think about it real hard you might be able to figure it out. wink wink Darren

Love the fake muffler! This is the best tool tube I have seen!

The side guards on this bike are Moose Racing Nerf Bars which interfere with the way I've cross mounted the 4 inch ABS tube on other bikes. An aluminum bar cross wise has served well to mount in other cases but this one requires that the tube be spaced out a bit to avoid pressing on the screw threads area of the end caps. A few trials and some head scratching but think that I will modify a pair of saddles from 4 inch muffler clamps to accommodate the bigger PVC tubing. That will allow the tube to be spaced out enough to miss the Nerf Bar and can be positioned by welding to the cross bar on the mount. Patrick, what diameter & length is your tractor tube and what size was the ABS you removed? Also curious as to why you changed?
The only tractor tubes I've seen are smaller so interested if there's an off the shelf this size range.

I went to Tractor Supply place and they had no idea what I meant when I asked for tractor owner manual tube. Where can you buy one ?

Its a welding rod container. Ive never heard of a tractor manual tube.
