doohickey spring end

I saw that. It didn t bother me at all and no offense was taken. I was mainly putting the information out for any newbie, like I was, to the KLR. Searching this group, and following the links it lead me to, showed me what needed to be changed, tweaked and watched. At the time, Eagle Mike s Doohickey kit that came with several springs was the way to go. Now it s his Doohickey Kit with the torsion spring. Both the old style, pre-2007 and the new, upgraded sintered metal ones in the post-2007 models. A majority of the pre-07 s were bad welds, but I have two that the outer portion of the adjuster was totally missing.
