I have to apologize to this list for my insensitive remarks made the other day.  Since there were no names mentioned I completely misunderstood what was being asked of me.  I thought the sender of that post was saying that they had been trying for years to get unsubscribed from our list and that the person that they had sent the notice to be removed had died.  I get unsubscribe me notices all the time and thought this was another one of those.  I had no idea that someone had actually died and have since apologized to the widow of my blunder.

Again I am sorry for my mistake.

Doubly sad as Bellingham is only a short distance from here and never had the pleasure of meeting him...

Thanks for the research.

Re:  One'll take you to and down most any fire road around.          The other will take you across country without parts of your anatomy screaming in anger.

Please - the L and the V motors are both V motors differing only in the angle.  Angles for V motors range from the early 1900's bicycle-frame-limit of 42 degrees to anyplace in between the designer decides to go with the common 90 degrees angle having the least vibration to deal with.  All will do either job depending upon bore-stroke ratios, compression ratios and other mechanical design limits that small angle configurations impose on the designer. Last I looked at the 2 KLR's in my shop neither one was Vee motor
