As a field engineer I'm always looking for new and exciting locations (Southwest Asia need not apply).
I've picked the collective brains of this previously regarding the Palmdale, CA / Edwards AFB area.
The timing wasn't right then so we've stayed in sunny England for the time being.
However, a new opportunity has presented itself and we're (the wife and I) are considering Where America's Day Begins, Guam.
I've done the Google search so I've heard a lot of the good, the bad, and the ugly.
If we go, it will be my wife, and our two sons (both under 5). I'll most likely be working at Anderson AFB. The assignment will probably be two years.
We're interested, but any first-hand anecdotes are appreciated. So, anyone spent any time in Guam?
Thanks,
Josh
