I clicked on the link that Fred gave and Behold ... sure enough.. in the background there was a lady that seemed ready to ride, chaps, jacket ... . I never could figure out why at cars, bikes, boats, guns, races, any crowd gathering events you find ladies in bikinis, undies ,whatever. Fred, would you have a girl pose this way in front of your store? do you feel you would attract more customers? what would you be selling ,meat or bike parts ? ( Steady down pour here, can't ride.. Thought I would steer things up ...) ________________________________ From: Fred Hink To: DSN KLR650 dsn_klr650@yahoogroups.com>; Desert Datsuns Sent: Saturday, December 29, 2012 10:23 AM Subject: Re: [DSN_KLR650] Bajaworx Windshield Clearview makes some good windshields for your bike. They come in three different heights and tints. http://clearviewshields.com/shop/product.php?id=303 Clearview uses your stock windshield along with their taller windshield to help vent behind the windshield which will limit turbulence. What are they selling? Oil. Most likely Rotella 15/40. Secondary sales would be (sic) WD-40 chain lube. cough. revmaaatin.

well, in looking at the front capillar, I could see almost no lining left. Pulled the unit off the bike saw the rubber boot ring was sticking out at places around the piston. Hmmmmmm. Probably why the front started dragging a bit last week. So took it all apart. The boot ring has swole Up and won't fit in there anymore. Sigh. Found pits on the piston and a bit of corrosion in the grove where the boot ring fits. Hello Ebay and 35 bucks later I have a unit coming. Plus new pads for the front. Had a set for the back. Have another set up there on the shelf but not for the KLR. Must be for the Bandit rear. Hmmmmm. Mean while, pulled the back unit off and check everything. All is okay with it so gonna change pads and put it back on. And flush out the system with fresh fluid. Ta daaaaaaaaa .
