the rubber on my rear turn signal light dry rotted and they both cracked. The bike is in Mexico so I am looking for a quick fix. What do you think I should use, would some type of glue work on the rubber? Thanks Brian

Glue probably won't hold very long at all, even if you could get it to bond to the dead rubber. There is the old "get me home and a little longer" stand-by: Black electrical tape. Lots of it, round and round... -eddie

I would use several layers of standard electrical shrink tubing, or one layer of adhesive-lined 600-volt underground wire shrink tubing. Self-sealing silicone tape is another, probably quicker option. Mark

Maybe you can slit a length of heater hose, slip it over the area, and use RTV plus zip ties to hold everything together. I think it has to do with the yahoo site for privacy reasons they mess up email addresses when viewed on the site but they go through fine if you get your messages via email. I had to use several wraps of Duct Tape to get me home a few years back. You can get smaller replaments on ebay. putting led replacements on is a pretty good hassel due to KLRs indicator light set up.

If only Cracked and drooping, Any good tape (GORILLA IS GREAT) should hold it for a week PLUS.
