Kevin, That reminds me of when I was kid and would find a broken bicycle in front of someone's house - awaiting the trash truck. I'd scavenge whatever parts I could (sometimes the whole bike!) and build a ridable one out of the various parts. Most bikes like a Huffy, Murray, Sears, K-mart, JC Penny, etc...shared common sized parts. Then there were Schwinns. Seemed like nothing off a Schwinn would fit anything else. They were always some weird size. =) eddie
