ruger scout rifle nklr

I once saw a rifle described as a "single-cylinder, non-reciprocating
piston, internal combustion engine"", which gives it another connection
to to the not quite so venerable KLR.
I am currently adjusting the ammo for the H&R Buffalo rifle, and having
a lot of fun doing it.

The bolt action allows it to chamber a mixer of 308 loads simultaneously.. The 308 cartridge can be loaded for nearly silent subsonic loads using a 0 buckshot suitable for situations where you would use a 22 rifle all the way up to cartridges suitable for bear or elk. It will also fire Nato 7.62 x 51 surplus ammo. I'm really looking forward to getting out on the range with this puppy. > > Randy from Wrightwood > > ________________________________ > From: William > To: mailto:DSN_klr650%40yahoogroups.com > Sent: Thursday, September 27, 2012 12:13 PM > Subject: [DSN_KLR650] Ruger Scout Rifle > > I've had my Scout for a few weeks and am awaiting a Nikon extended eye relief scope. It is analogous to a KLR as far as utility, as it does sort of fit the "if I could have only one rifle" criteria. It will hunt and it will serve as self defense, and the bolt action is pretty stone reliable. The one primary difference from a KLR is the matter of power - a .308 slug from a 16 1/2" barrel is a bit more authoritative than twisting the green machine's throttle . . . > > Bill > > -------------------------- > > [The entire original message is not included] > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > > > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > > > > ------------------------------------ > > List Sponsors - Dual Sport News: http://www.dualsportnews.com > Arrowhead Motorsports: http://www.arrowheadmotorsports.com > List FAQ courtesy of Chris Krok: http://www.bigcee.com/klr650faq.html > Member Map: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DSN_KLR650/app/peoplemap/view/map > Group Apps: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DSN_KLR650/grouplets/subscriptionsYahoo!
