Hey all Just a repeat to "oldies" of the group. To newer guys, that travel alone at times or "to the middle of NO-WHERE". I travel with a "Spot Locator", It's kind of like "on star" it works off Satelltes in-stead of phone towers. About the size of a pager. (To the YOUNGENS, A "PAGER", is what we used just before Cell phones when we desided, we can not be out of touch for 10 minutes. LOL) It has several nice things, SOS, for MEDICAL Emergancies, (cops & ER sent to you.) these others sent to your 10 pick Email's (wife, mistress, BOOKIE, etc.) 1. OK, marks you spot on google maps (for 30 days then GONE) and tell's all ten, I'm OK. I use it also just before shuttin it off at night. 2. MESG., A predesigned mesgage to the 10. Mine says, I'm fine and am stopping for an hour or so, so that if they see on the maps I am not moving for a while, it's OK, it's a long delay, lunch hiking etc. 3.SEND HELP. This does NOT go to spot, but instead goes to the 10 emails, telling them to call my lady and (or) let her know, I NEED AAA Towing, (Or if close to hm someone get my trailer and come get me.) also she/they know, Do not worry, if I were hurt, I would have hit SOS. The FUN!!!! rides are usualy OUT OF CELL COVERAGE RANGE. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
