I have an 05 klr 650 that had the oil plug rattled out and took out the the lower end. I have a new 2008 klr 650 to go in but i noticed a metal tube coming out of the top of the engine, does it go to a oil cooler??? The 2005 doesnt have it.
I have pictures in my photo album of these engines.

In looking at the OEM groups on Bike Bandit web site. That line attaches to a 2nd Air Valve then goes ???? . Just shows it pointing to the frame. Look like air emmisions to me but I'd have to compare the whole bikes to one another. Just a guess, but, I'd just plug it up. The '09 carb I put on my and extra tube on it that I pluged. Works great.

I try to drink a gallon of water a day and build/load my luggage so it can provide back support as well. What may seem like kidney pain, can also be the onset of pneumonia in your lungs.

I 'try' to drink only distilled water, available ~$1 +/- gallon; (a little more at a C store), filling the camel back/canteens with the cleanest water available. Distilled water contains no floride or chlorine. Having 4qts of capacity lets me buy a gallon of water and top off all the containers. If there is a little left over, clean your visor with it.
