heidenau tires

Post by ron criswell » Tue Jul 31, 2012 9:37 pm

Hah, that's funny. I have been paying folks to mount my tires....after I remove the wheel from the bike....for years. That will come back to haunt you experience wise...if you have a flat on the road. Recently, I went riding with the rev and Jud and a couple others in the black hills of South Dakota. Guess who had a flat? The rev and Jud helped get me on the road again in about an hour. I need a few alterations in my tool box. I quit mounting my tires years ago struggling with a very stiff Trailborg knobby tire with 2 rim locks a good part of the day only winding up pinching the tube vowing not to attempt it again....but....like everything else.....experience, experience is everything. Good tools are a good idea also. I was probably using flat head screw drivers on the Trailborg instead of good tire tools. Criswell Sent from my iPad

If you are paying someone to mount and balance tires its worth it to pay more for a long lasting tire Great street and dirt grip not great for soft sand and slick mud > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
