My 761 front started scalloping at around 12,000 miles. I recommend
replacing them as a set as well. I like the Shinko 705 front much
better; it doesn't chase cracks nearly as badly.
In fact, I love the 705s all the way 'round, they're just really soft,
and thus they handle like a dream but erase themselves very quickly.
The 761 is a trooper.
