broken turn signal - any suggestions for replacing???

Just finished removing a dozen practice golf balls(11 yellow and 1 white) from a GSXR600 Suzuki's gas tank. The owner didn't even know they were there! Seems someone's child had access to Dad's key and a dozen golf balls. Geez. I'm just glad they were gas proof and had holes in them so the claw tool could grab ahold of them. He's glad they weren't a handful of rocks! LOL

The ktm shop here sells little balls the size of marbles to fill your tank with so it takes less gas and weighs less full.

Reminds me of a similar experience. One morning I was getting my CBR125R ready for the morning commute. I tried to crank it over, but it sounded like it was struggling. So rolled on a bit of throttle during the start and -*POP*-*BANG*-*ZING*!!! A golf ball evacuates the exhaust at high speed hitting the garage door and flying off into the hedges. I put and aftermarket one on mine, think I payed under $15. Strange thing was only one was listed for a Kawasaki and was supposed to fit front and rear, the rear has a shorter stalk but for the price I took a shot. Turns out that the aftermarket units were so close to the OEM that I was able to swap stalks. If I remember properly the biggest differences betwen the two other then price was the aftermarket had a cheaper looking bulb socket and was lacking the lens gasket that the OEM had, the gasket actually even fit the aftermarket unit so I was able to use it....Greg ________________________________ From: James W.
