Will a gen2 muffler bolt on to a gen1 klr with a stock setup? Crash

Just sold my 2006 with 60,000+ on it ,never a slip on that old clutch. My 2009 has 24,000+ on it and I hope to go 40 or 50 more on that clutch before I get a "new" KLR. I run 10 percent Lucas in all 3 KLRs with no slipage. Just take care of them. Dennis
