Just back from a 3 day run to Arkansas which I had hoped to make 5 days. My rear Shrinko looked to have about 1/2 thread life on it so figured it's good for at least another 2500 miles are so. Wrong, started see a few near slick spots on the trailing edge of the semi knobbies after another 600 miles. Maybe I just missed those high wear spots during my inspection. Probably a good reason to pull a wheel off again after a few thousand miles on a tire and rebalance it. But, had a fun run on the old KLR. A bit over 1200 miles in 3 days with about 25% dirt and gravel. You know, I just knew I should of put those new Kenda 270's I had sitting in the shop on for that trip. Andy, getting old and forgetful already. Hmmmmmm
