The USMC diesel KLR, which the Scimitar is an example of, actually does get over 100 mpg.

I concur. Diesels are very fuel efficient, but you'll have huge torque but lower horsepower and a lower rev limit. It's all a tradeoff. -Jeff Khoury

Try this if you have a taste for diesel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ol0q7cCPCZ0&feature=fvst note: kerosene is higher refined diesel. I ran jet fuel in my diesel pickup without 'complaint'. Some ag plane turbines use diesel; the time between overhall is 1/2 as I recall. revmaaatin.

April 28, 2012. If you live in the Twin Cities, or within convenient travel distance (what that means is up to you) our annual tech day is the social event of the young season. There will be a couple of sets of the special tools for changing the quadrant, plus experienced coaching for the swap or any other maintenance tasks, tire changes, fork springs, chain and sprockets, etc. Location: Paul Streeter's house in Shoreview (St. Paul suburb).
