4.60 x 17 on the rear

As a rear tire: Any significant performance/safety penalty for using a 4.60 x 17 vs a 5.10 x 17 on the KLR650? revmaaatin.

Progressive limits max med moto insurance to 25k USAA limits max moto med insurance to 100k If you let your USAA moto insurance lapse in CA, USAA forces you to Progressive to re-insure...and you are stuck at the $25K max limit. J#3

Rev, I think the usual reason guys might prefer them is the lowered riding height provided by the tire. Being tall, I use the 5.10 but I haven't heard of anyone having an issue with a 4.60. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
