Can anybody recommend a trunk for a pre '08 KLR 650 that has lights
connected to the brake light?
It's a great safety feature.

Givi (brand) has lighted and non and in several sizes.
There are other cheaper brands, that some say are not as strong, but I,m sure they will touch base on the topic as to what ones.

Check eBay for "Bestem" brand cases. (1/3 the cost of a similar type GiVi.)
The mounts are kind of crappy looking and made of stamped sheet metal. But,
I've had their E460-like box
for about 6 months now and it's done just fine.

I'm running this on on my KLR. Like it lots. I have Givi stuff on my Bandit. Just took off a cooscase top box on the bandit and may try it on the KLR, Just not sure yet.

You need to order the "Large" if you want a full-face to fit. The "Medium" will not quite close with one in there.
