My lady says I may win that one. At about .19cents a pair, ($38.35 for 200) I have been throwing many of my used earplugs in a ziplock bag, today I washed them, A few drops of soap in the bag, hot water, and start smashing right in the bag, Rince then a couple of drops of bleach (predelute in water) hot water, again squeze smash in bag let sit 5 min. Rince again ALL IN THE SAME BAG, and squeze out water, take out and wrap in towel, roll up squeze out extra water now let set by a window in the sun. 15 min = save about $11. (& gas to get more) RECYCLING If you had 1 sponge that cost $11., how much time would you spend cleaning it? (they are like little spongies.) If I would have tried a bit harder the same time would have been for 150 +- pairs. =28.50 a yr. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

I've never heard of these guys, but it does look interesting. I'd like to stroll though a show like that too. I wish they would come east sometime. There were many KLR and other adventure bikes and riders. Great seminars, workshops and an excellent adventure film festival [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

You win. However, if I didn't get two 200-pk cases of EAR Classic and Pura Fit-to-be Tried earpugs for free, I might be in the same boat as you. I am that cheap. Mark

Hows does using "a" cottonball pulled into enough bits to make it a 10 hour shift in a machine shop compete ? Dooden A15 Green Ape
