Hey all
On one fork is a "Harris" sticker, yet I do not notice anything standing out as a NONstock part.
I'm the second owner, at 2500 miles, not sure if the 1st guy replaced anything besides bark busters.
Given It's My 1st KLR, and the only other one I have ridden was greatly upgraded, I'm not sure what to look for.
And do not want to pay to replace what has already been done.
Add thoughts HERE _ _ _ _ _ _
Thanks

I would be very interested in a set of those brackets, I think he should consider making them commercially.
I have a KLR and a Wee and I upgraded the Wee brakes by replacing the Wee calipers with a pair off a GSXR sport bike. So I have a pair of Wee calipers in my garage.
I think that there a quite a few Wee owners that have done the GSXR caliper upgrade and I suspect that there are a fair amount of folks that own both a KLR and a Wee.
I have upgraded the KLR brakes as well by swapping the rotor and relocating the wimpy caliper to suit the new larger rotor. But a better upgrade IMHO would be to use the stock rotor and a better, two-pot caliper. I think the Wee caliper would be perfect.

A friend has modified his KLR front and rear by putting V-Strom 650 (I think) brakes on it. Mucho better for street. He offered to do mine but I haven't yet as they are fine for dirt and gravel....but after riding on the street yesterday, maybe I will. He had to make brackets to make it work.

Maybe its just a sticker.
Like, "I voted today."
I gave blood.
cough.
Why yes, I ride a harley. How did you know?
My '98 KLR has numerous 'badge-stickers' that were on the bike when I bought it that infer parts installed , ie gaffer brake pads that once were there are now long since consumed but the stickers remain. shrug.
Your stickers might not mean anything at all.
Oh, the '98 teal-blue cowl is also badged with an industrial FORD tractor sticker. so it must be a Ford; it is parked next to the '01 Green KLR badged with a yellow/black industrial John Deere Sticker.
You would be surprised at the number of people who ask, "Is that really a Ford? (and both bikes will be side by side.)
