brighter headlight

Hey All I was looking at an old (3/09) MCN mag. and there product of the month was "eastern beaver" H4 headlight relay kits. MCN, (& E.B.) the research says that H4 bulbs are meant to be as much as 20% more efficient. (As the topic of installing a relay to get dirrect power to your stock horn, = LOADER) It the weak wiring going threw the switch etc. that RESTRICTS the power. There relay KIT Allows dirrect power from the battery. the kits also have a "hotter" outlet, some ceramic to handle the bulb getting hotter. ME? I most likely make my own setup. But relay KITS are avalible. (easternbeaver.com) [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Pre08 The ONLY way to go is the HID kits. Some purists may say the fixtures are not made for HID bulbs but so you scorch a few cagers. You only use 30 to 35 watts and they are cheap. My slim ballast HID kit was $3 and $20 shipping. Also, I added a switch to turn off the lights while I was doing it. Bank for buck, even if you have to pay $20 more, THERE IS NO COMPARISON. j#3

are the bomb. I only put them where it is hard to get to the fuses like under the seat. I noticed Autozone carries them in several different amps now. Pep Boys carries them too. Sometimes they don't have the 10 and 15 amp sizes at the auto parts stores but you can always get them online. I have never tripped the main circuit breaker under my seat after over 37K miles. J#3
