I weigh about 265 in my birthday suit and installed a 500 # spring from eshocks.com. It's just about right when I'm packed for a couple of weeks in Mexico, it's a little stiff, even at minimum preload for riding around town, without the baggage. I'd say a 450 # spring would be better for around town. But, the 500 doesn't cause me any problems. Paul Streeter [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
