exhaust header nuts

Post by Eddie » Sat Mar 31, 2012 10:06 am

Anyone constructed a metal nut retainer like some cruiser engines have? A thin strip of stainless steel in a semi-circle with holes and fold-overable tabs on the ends might work. The strip would fit over the exhaust flange studs. The nuts could be tightened and then the tabs bent in place along a flat on each nut - holding them in place. eddie
