OK CDI experts, I have a 1962 Vespa VNB3T that I put a 2002 LML Vespa/Bajaj/Stella Engine in. Went from 1 port, 6V, points to 5 port 12V CDI 4hp to 10 hp I rigged a solid copper spark plug wire and ran a no resistance spark plug wire connector to the no resistance B6ES plug The grey coil it came with started messing up; auto-retard? or just didn't like no resistance. So, I got a post 2006 Red CDI and it worked fine. I went to get some new spark plugs and could only find RN9YC which have resistance. Should I run a resistor plug or not?
