short legs

Sometimes I have to wonder about some of you.................., if the rider is too vertically challenged to ride a KLR, you do NOT need to get 2" lowered links, or a dipped Corbin seat, nor lower the forks 2" to get at least 3" closer to terra firma. There are two quite simple and less expensive solutions, 1. Get on e bay and buy a pair of 1970's Disco Platform Shoes (remember those, anyone), or 2. take your riding footwear to a cobbler and have them add a four inch layer of sole to the shoe, and Bingo, problem solved. Did the cowboys saw off a few inches from the hoof's of their steeds? Never! With my solution you will ride tall in the saddle and be a giant among your peers!
