clock ideas?

I think it's for real. I ran across it and was curious so I clicked on their other items and they sell watches that look like other motorcycle and car dashes. I have an 2008 that decided out of the blue that I needed another project, went to ride it today and when in neutral the list is bright green as normal, and when in gear it is "on but dim" and the bike will run with the kick stand down in GEAR with the clutch in now... I am guessing it is a short somewhere? Any ideas? What or where to look before I go tearing stuff apart for no reason? PS. it was not doing this yesterday when parked... Michael
