Please bear with me, I am no mechanic by any means and have a question about a used K9 Fork Brace that I installed today............ My question, "When I installed the K9 Fork Brace, I put/installed it over the rubber fork covers/boots. If I raised the fork covers/boots so that the K9 would be directly over the bare metal, the fork covers/boots would sit too high and I feared that dirt, etc., would get onto fork seals. It was a tad snug bit it fit. I think this is OK?" Also, I immediately noticed an improvement in the fork (handling and feel), especially when turning. How have you all installed the fork brace? Did you put it over the covers/boots? Or am I missing something? Eddie
