sprockets needed in acapulco mexico

Martin, read this DSN list, please do not reply all First link is to a list of friendly repair Shops, Central America and Mexico. Nothing for Acapulco that I saw so Mexico City is probably your best bet. I blind copied Roberto at MotoHaus to see if he could help. MotoHaus is a Beemer shop but they know the area and might be able to point you in the right direction if they dont have compatible sprockets. http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hubb/repair-shops-central-america-mexico/ If nothing there then try the Horizons Unlimited HUB and go to the North America section. Go to the forum for that area and post that you are looking for a sprocket. If there is anybody in the area, and I know for sure there are people in Mexico registered, they will see it and hopefully respond. Be careful because you may get your in box filled with people willing to help. As I recall the HUB was originally designed as a place for travelers to seek information and local assistance and there are many people from around the world listening there for people needing help. The most probable fast solution is to find the biggest local motorcycle shop around and see if they have a compatible sprocket. That probably means walking into a shop with the sprocket in hand. If you are stuck then a used sprocket may get you to somewhere that a replacement can be waiting. http://www.horizonsunlimited.com Chris, A.K.A. Skypilot Fw: Sprockets needed in Mexico Posted by: "Fred Hink" moabmc@... moabmc1 Thu Jan 12, 2012 8:34 am (PST) Is there anyone with connections to get a couple of rear sprockets for the KLR to a couple of travelers in Acapulco, Mexico? The mail service in Mexico is unreliable at best and they are needing these rear sprockets ASAP. You can contact Martin at: martinhur@... Please pass this on to other KLR message boards and thanks for any help.
