For the price, you can't beat EBC sintered pads, especially with grooved rotors. They're thicker than the others, so will last longer with grooved rotors. You'll need to do some sessions of hard brake - roll - hard brake - roll in order to get them to conform to the grooves, but after that, they'll haul you down just fine. Where to get them -- I walk into my Kawsasaki dealer and say, "I want some EBC brake pads for my KLR-650." They walk to the back and get them -- they're the only brake pads they actually stock (they don't stock the OEM ones). I like 'em with my oversized rotor, but I preferred the Dunlopad HHs with the stock rotor--the Dunlopads are more aggressive so they gave more overall stopping power, but they still had pretty good feel at the lever. If you do any riding at all in the rain or mud you are better off with sintered pads. DP brakes standard sintered compound (the HH stop better but wear faster) or EBC Sintered are good choices. These last longer than the Galfer greens which stop a little better but suck when wet and wear faster.
