What do you tell someone when they ask you about your KLR?
"It isn't for sale. I rode it hard but over-maintained it. It blew anyways. So, I got an almost new USMC engine with 258 miles on it and put it in. Over the years I added way too much farkle to walk away from it.
Contour front rotor
Torsion Doohickey
Dash
HID
Rear wave rotor
Progressive front fork springs
2009 rear shock with Eibach spring upgrade
Rear brake mount upgrade
Subframe bolt upgrade
SS front brake line
Jardine RT-4 Exhaust with quiet module
Skid plate
IMS foot pegs
16T front sprocket
The suspension works better than a later model and it has
more travel. I hope this engine is more Semper Fi than the
last one.
It isn't for sale"
One sentence: "I abused it like no one else can. Trust me, this bike is a survivor." da Vermonster> So your bike is for sale... > What do you tell someone when they ask you about your KLR and > 'How did you treat it?'
