fork height, rake & trail

When you push the forks up through the triple clamps, do you decrease rake and trail, or increase it? I'm guessing decrease but I got a D in geometry.

Your guess was correct. Both rake and trail are reduced. Nylock is what I have been using for years, and what Fred said.. they will wear out after time, but how often do you adjust them ??? Dooden A15 Green Ape

A Fuji nut works well as a lock nut as long as you don t have to adjust it. The metal locking ring wears out shortly and then there is nothing to stop the nut from coming loose. A nylock will loosen eventually but they seem to always have a little friction to keep them from falling off. > > Fred > http://www.arrowheadmotorsports.com > > > > From: Jeffrey > Sent: Friday, November 18, 2011 4:53 PM > To: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com > Subject: [DSN_KLR650] Fred do you have the Fuji-Lock reusable flange-nuts > > > for the rear axle adjusters? > > J#3 > > > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] >
