Here in Ga., I don't worry so much about the deer I see.
It's their "friend" right behind them out of sight or the one already
across the road that scare me.
I hit a button buck that came out from between two houses on the edge of
town one afternoon.
I saw the doe cross in plenty of time. The buck came out of nowhere.
Thankfully, I was in a 1974 Cutlass and knocked the thing 20-30 yards past
where I stopped the car.
It destroyed the fiberglass nose on the car, shoved the hood and left
fender back and made me REALLY
glad I wasn't on a bike.
