I don't even know what a "Benz turbo valve" is, but I already want one! Haven't done the PCV mod yet, can't recall what it is... -JWF

warmest gloves
Google Hippo Hands. I used them throughout the Andes last year and never put on my winter gloves--lightweight summer leather was warm (and dry) enough. They are easily taken off and stored when the weather warms up.....c.f. here in Ghana, where the thought of wearing gloves, boots, jacket, overpants or just about anything else is absolutely intolerable.
Before the Hippo Hands I tried all sorts of stuff, including the heaviest gloves I could find (up to and including winter mountaineering gear), giant ungainly mittens, those Aeorostich over-mitts (total crap), and a snowmobiling imitation of the Hippo Hands (which didn't fit and weren't anywhere near the same quality). There are reasons snowmobile gear is cheaper than motorcycling gear, and it's mostly related to the absence of quality in the former.
Mileage varies.
