Excellent shape pre08s can be had for 2000 to 2500. All years require doohickey work. If you add a bigger front rotor kit($200), progressive fork springs($100)and upgrade your rear shock(I did it for $200), you will have more better suspension travel than a post08. Adding a pipe, rejetting, opening up your air box(this cost me $100) and it will sound better and be faster than an 08 or later. And if you drop it in the dirt, you won't cry. J#3
