grip removal?

Post by Tim Pruitt » Mon Sep 12, 2011 7:54 pm

I've also worked the tiny red straw on brake cleaner and suck under it a little at a time and worked it off, that and the air Fred Suggested have both worked. I'm usually replacing the grips anyway, but I still like to get them off if I can for "who knows when I might need one...". Hey it's just how I was raised. I got the new handlebars on yesterday, all except I could not get the grip off the throttle. I just left it on for today. Huge improvement in the handling of the bike. The (stock) right grip seems to have melted onto the the throttle tube. Any tips on getting it to come off cleanly? -- Charlie [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
